AxL entra nel team
Success has many components, but at AxL the formula starts with people: with their potential, their ideas and the determination they bring to their work every day.

This video tells the story behind a project created to engage new people with the company, through the faces and experiences of those who contribute daily to AxL’s growth.

The project was conceived and produced entirely in‑house, with colleagues taking on the role of protagonists. This choice makes it possible to portray day‑to‑day work in a direct way and to highlight the value of teamwork and collaboration.

The result is a concrete, authentic story that reflects AxL’s way of working: a strong focus on people, active participation and a shared contribution to the organisation’s growth.

Chiara Liva Regional Manager – Northeast Italy

My journey at AxL began more than ten years ago. I was seeking a context that would allow me to focus again on what I value most: people search and assessment, without the commercial pressure I had previously experienced.
I started at AxL as a recruiter and achieved good results right from the start. When I was later asked to take on commercial responsibilities again, I have to admit I had some doubts. But this is where I found something different: trust, listening, and the opportunity to do things in my own way—combining technical expertise with a strong focus on relationships. This allowed me to rediscover a new approach to consultancy and to delivering value to clients, always starting from a deep understanding of the job market.
Within a few years, my career progressed quickly: from recruiter to account manager, then branch manager, and now regional manager. Today, I oversee the Sacile, Treviso, Padua, Thiene and Verona branches, supported by a team of professionals who contribute every day to the growth of our project.
What made the difference in my journey? Adaptability, perseverance and the ability to stay organised even in the most challenging situations.
Looking back at my academic background in psychology and criminology, I can see a strong connection with my current role: curiosity and analytical thinking are essential to understanding both people and organisational contexts. These are elements that, although they may seem far from the HR world, still guide me today. Because, after all, finding the right person – someone who fits in well with a particular company – is a bit like conducting an investigation: you need to observe, listen, connect the dots, and sometimes even come up with new ways to ‘solve the case’.
Now, rather than thinking about how far I can go, I ask myself what I can give back to AxL: helping people grow, supporting them in discovering their potential, and sharing knowledge and experience. That is my greatest ambition.
If you’re looking for a company where you can grow, put yourself to the test, be heard and build a solid and authentic career path, then this is the place for you. At AxL, people truly matter—and the next success story could be yours.

Alessio Bennardo BU Manager – Florence Office

I joined AxL in 2016, while I was still completing my university studies. At the time, I wasn’t familiar with the world of employment agencies, but from my very first interviews at AxL I sensed a different approach—practical, welcoming and based on listening. From the very beginning, I felt I was in an environment where people matter, where those who are eager to learn are genuinely given the opportunity to do so.
I started as a recruiter, and day by day I realised just how central the value of relationships is to our profession. After my first few years, I was given the opportunity to try my hand at various roles — from sales to the Healthcare division — eventually taking on responsibility for an office.
Every step along the way has been an opportunity for growth, always supported by trust and the freedom to take initiative. At AxL, I’ve had the chance to put forward ideas, test new approaches and, above all, build a career path that truly reflects my professional identity. No step was ever imposed: every decision came from dialogue, shared thinking and a willingness to challenge myself.
Looking back today, I can clearly see how much that trust has made a difference. AxL is a company that believes in mutual growth and provides tools rather than predefined paths. Working here means being part of a team that supports one another, valuing skills but also the people behind the roles. For me, that’s the greatest value: being able to contribute authentically every day, knowing that I am heard and that I can grow together with others.

Francesca Buratti Regional Manager – Central and Southern Italy

I joined AxL in March 2017 with enthusiasm and a strong desire to challenge myself. I started as a Senior Account Manager, and from the very beginning I understood that this was an environment where skills matter—but they are not enough. Listening, vision and, above all, mutual trust are essential.
Today I am Regional Manager for Central and Southern Italy. Looking back, every step has been an opportunity to learn something new: about myself, about the people I work with, and about the value of shared responsibility.
In less than a year, in 2018, I became Office Manager. That was my first real test. I have always believed in open dialogue and in the possibility of building solutions together, even when starting from a problem.
I’ve always carried one belief with me: “Even when challenges arise, the first step is to listen. That’s where solutions begin.”
In 2022, I took on an important challenge: opening the Perugia office. It wasn’t just about expanding Axl’s presence, but about building something from the ground up: a new team, an identity, a connection with the local area. It was an intense and highly formative experience.
In 2023, I was entrusted with the coordination of the Adriatic area, including the Cesena office— another new balance to find and a new level of responsibility to take on. And each time, the starting point has always been the same: people.
Today, as Regional Manager, I oversee multiple offices and teams. My role is not only to organise, but also to support and guide. This requires time, presence and a structured approach.
I try to give the people I work with the tools to be independent, self-aware and confident.
“Growth is never an individual endeavour. We grow when we help those around us grow.”
I believe in a leadership style based on proximity and practicality, where everyone feels free to contribute—even by making mistakes. Over the years, I’ve seen talent emerge in the most unexpected ways, often outside traditional paths. And it is precisely those stories, those shared achievements, that give meaning to my work every day.

Luca Dell'Isola Business Development Manager – Active Labour Policies Division, Piedmont & Tuscany

I joined AxL in 2014, almost by chance, while I was looking for an opportunity to challenge myself after graduating in law. I had considered pursuing a legal career, but the path of legal traineeship and the bar exam didn’t fully convince me. I was looking for something more tangible—something that would allow me to connect with people and their professional stories. So I started out as a recruiter and quickly realised that, even though I had changed direction, I had found my field: an environment where curiosity, active listening and analytical skills are essential tools, just as they are in law.
In my early years, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, taking on various roles and working on different projects. Each experience has been a step in my growth, from recruitment to client relationships, and eventually to managing the first Active Labour Policies initiatives. In 2017, I began organising work placements, and in 2019 AxL obtained accreditation for the Turin and Novara offices. Around the same time, I became Regional Manager for Piedmont, and more recently I have also taken on responsibility for Tuscany. Every three years or so, my role has changed, bringing new challenges and a growing sense of awareness.
What I appreciate most about AxL is the opportunity to grow professionally without losing touch with the operational side of the business. Even today, despite my managerial role, I continue to work alongside colleagues on Active Labour Policies projects. I believe that to lead a team, you need to have a deep understanding of the work you ask others to do. Only in this way can you build trust and provide truly meaningful guidance.
At AxL, there are no rigid career paths: there is room to suggest ideas, experiment and find your own way. It is a company that trusts you and enables you to perform at your best, supporting you step by step. Looking back, I realise that every achievement has come from a combination of listening, freedom and collaboration. And that, I believe, is what makes AxL a place worth growing in.

Michele Giarola BU Manager – Verona Office

My journey at AxL began when I discovered the AxL Academy, a training programme designed to prepare young people interested in the HR field, providing them with the skills needed.
At that moment, after graduating in Political Science and Economics, I realised it was the right time to take on a new challenge.
Thanks to the project, I received comprehensive training: classroom sessions, on-the-job training in the office, hands-on experience, and continuous exchange with experienced colleagues. During those six intensive months, I gained practical tools and a clear understanding of the role.
After my internship, I officially joined the AxL team at the Verona office. I initially worked as a recruiter, and later moved into a sales role, which was more aligned with my interests and ambitions.
Within a short time, I was appointed Branch Sales Manager, always supported by colleagues who believed in me from day one and guided me with great attention.
In September 2024, I was very proud to be appointed Business Unit Manager of the Verona office, confirming the real growth opportunities that had been outlined at the beginning of my journey at AxL.
I still fondly remember the words of the General Manager, at the end of the AxL Academy in May 2022. He spoke about the many growth opportunities within AxL for new joiners—and throughout my journey at this company, those words have proven to be genuine and true.
Since then, my responsibilities have continued to grow: I coordinate the team, manage client relationships, and remain deeply involved in matching candidates with job opportunities.
My greatest satisfaction? When we succeed in creating real opportunities for both companies and candidates by finding the perfect match.
I believe my success comes from curiosity and determination. As a manager, I strongly believe in leading by example and in shared responsibility. My ambition is not to “give orders”, but to be the first to set the right direction, always showing consistency and being present. The rest follows naturally.
For me, AxL has meant trust, structure and the real opportunity to grow. To anyone starting today, I would say just one thing: give yourself time. But stay consistent and determined. Results will come, if you put in the effort.
